(Don’t) Mind the Gap: Part 2

A radio. A sleepless night. A game of Rook.

God uses a lot of catalysts when He writes our stories.

A Bible study program. A nursing home.

He also comes up with some pretty creative locations!

Once again, I’m just the reporter for some fascinating love stories that include differences in age. Hope you get a glimpse of the trustworthiness of God in every situation!

  1. I just finished reading pt 2… nice! First, I liked how you compared the well-known London train station warning with the age differences of married couples. Then, I liked that you used real life situations as models for this thesis. Last but not least, I loved how you show the key to a successful marriage is not just about communication, patience, understanding, kindness, etc, it’s about fully trusting a God who is timeless. A friend of mine showed me a link about two bachelors who traveled around the US looking for marriage advice from married couples who were married 40+yrs, called Project Everlasting (http://www.projecteverlasting.com/home.html), but what they forget to mention that a great marriage has to be founded on Christ, the cornerstone that a good foundation is built upon… no matter how long a marriage lasts.
